Our Story Begins With a Journey We Didn't Expect

In the summer of 2022, we (Leon and Sheila) decided to grow our family. Like many first-time parents, we were hopeful, organized, and using every tool we could find. When our first pregnancy ended in an early loss, a simple plan turned into a long, emotional fertility journey filled with apps, trackers, and unanswered questions.

A year later, Sheila became pregnant again. What should have been a joyful new chapter quickly became high-risk when a serious medical complication was discovered. By late 2023, we had relocated to the Bay Area for specialized monitoring, juggling treatment plans, work, and preparations for our baby, all while stitching together information from countless sources that didn't fit our reality.

Through it all, one thing became clear: this journey is already demanding. Finding clear, personalized support shouldn't be. We didn't need more apps. We needed one place we could trust. That's when ProMom was born.

What We Learned Along the Way

Living through our own fertility and high-risk pregnancy journey, we saw the same patterns everywhere.

• Too many tools, not enough clarity. Cycle apps, symptom checkers, forums, and product lists never told the full story.
• Generic advice doesn't fit real life. Most guidance wasn't tailored to stage or situation.
• It's hard to know what to trust. Parents deserve guidance grounded in medical expertise, not random posts or unchecked AI responses.
• The mental load is nonstop. Decisions pile up quickly, big and small.

Moms don't need more noise. They need one intelligent, trustworthy companion.
